THE NURTURE COMMITTEE
Our Nurture Committee plans events and programs to encourage a richer, deeper bond among the members of The First Christian Church in Shelbyville. These events and programs will develop a strong commitment to service that is essential to the future of the church. Members of the committee are dedicated to caring for our membership and providing fellowship opportunities.

The first Wednesday of each month is the most popular event – a Fellowship meal beginning at 6 p.m. The kick-off meal is in September and it is a potluck dinner with the church providing the meat and drinks. All other meals are catered with the cost being $12 per person. This also includes a short program or entertainment each month. Reservations are encouraged by signing up or calling the church office. This is a perfect opportunity to meet members of the church and ALL are welcome.
Please come join us!
Other activities include Christian Education, Drama Team, Recycled Teenagers (RTs), Trunk or Treat, Advent, Prayer Vigil, VBS, Bereavement Dinners, 8 to Relate, and more if a good idea comes along. This committee needs a lot of members and others to help at times.
We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
